Where does TheShop.mu deliver?
We deliver everywhere in Mauritius. You can choose the delivery address during the online checkout process.
We can also deliver outside of Mauritius and will quote carrier charges after receiving your order. If you wish to know more about International Deliveries, you can find a lot useful information here.
How quickly does TheShop.mu deliver?
During the online checkout you can specify the date and time for delivery. You can choose between 2 hour long slots, with slots starting from 9.30 am till 7.30 pm, 6 days a week. For example, you can schedule delivery to be done on "the next day", between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. We currently do not offer same day delivery, and the delivery slots are available starting from the Next Day.
How much do you charge for delivery?
Delivery is free for any orders over Rs 2,000. For orders under Rs 2,000 we charge Rs 199 for delivery (these rules apply to delivery in Mauritius only).

How can I pay for the order?
We offer a number of different ways to pay for your shopping:
- Debit or Credit Card on Delivery – our drivers carry mobile POS machines with them to take payments
- Cash on Delivery
- PayPal – you do not need to have a PayPal account in order to chose this option. All you will need is a debit or credit card
- Internet Banking Transfer – you can find our Banking Details here

- Cheque – for business customers only, subject to approval
- Credit – for business customers only, subject to approval
Do you deliver to companies?
We can deliver goods to individuals and also corporates. Corporate clients are able to apply for Credit facility (subject to T&Cs), with only one invoice issued at the end of each month, payable within 14 days from issue. Corporate customers may obviously also choose to use any of the other forms of payment available typically to individuals. For more details please contact us on email@example.com.
How to pay advance payment?
If buying products for someone else (eg gift, eCard, flowers), you need to make sure that the payment is made in advance, and not later then 24 hours before the scheduled delivery. You can choose PayPal, MCB Juice, or Bank Transfer as a payment method.
Note that you do not need to have a PayPal account to choose PayPal as payment option. All you need is a debit or credit card to pay online.
How to amend my order?
You can add or remove items from your order for as long as the order is not yet fulfilled. In order to amend your existing oder simply go to My Account page, find the order you wish to amend, click on "Edit" and proceed as usual. Alternatively contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or +230 5250 6006 specifying the changes you wish us to make for you.
How to change delivery address?
After your order has been placed, you can still change its delivery address providing that you provide us enough notice – usually not less than 6 hours. You can change delivery address by sending us an email on email@example.com, stating your order number and the new delivery address. You may also change delivery address by going to My Account page, identifying the order and clicking on "Edit". As you do that the chances are however that the original delivery slot may not longer be available, in which case you will need to choose another slot.
How to change delivery slot?
The best way to change delivery slot for an existing order is by calling our Customer Support Team on +230 5250 6006, and requesting a change. We will then be able to confirm whether the required delivery slot is still available. Alternatively send us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org, making sure you state you order number.
How can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order by simply going to My Account page, clicking on the order number that you wish to cancel and clicking on "Cancel". You will receive an email confirmation once the order is successfully cancelled. Note that only orders not yet fulfilled can be cancelled. You may also cancel by sending us an email on email@example.com, stating order number and reason for cancellation.
How to change password?
Go to My Account, log in, click on "Edit Your Account", and click on "Reset Password". We will email you instructions in order to complete password change.
How to change my account details?
Your account details – name, address, phone number – can be changed at My Account page. Please note that delivery address for already placed orders can only be changed by emailing us on firstname.lastname@example.org, or by calling on +230 5250 6006. Please don't forget to provide your order number when you try to contact us.
How are frozen products delivered?
Frozen food products are packed in either cooler boxes or cooler bags, together with dry ice packs for additional protection.
