Availability and Delivery
TheShop.mu offers international deliveries only for non perishable items made in Mauritius (subject to international shipping regulations). Subject to availability, items will be shipped within usually no more than 3 business days after receiving the payment, including the delivery cost. International deliveries are carried out by third party carriers and not by TheShop.mu fleet.
Typically for local deliveries (so within Mauritius) our system will ask customers to choose delivery slot during the checkout, so preferred date and time for delivery. These however should be disregarded for any international deliveries (choose any delivery slot while checking out, but note that this will be disregarded).
Cost of International Delivery
Quotation for delivery would be provided (by email) within 48 hours from receiving an order. Delivery fee will be based on the total weight of the goods, the destination and chosen delivery option (standard or express delivery). Orders may be delivered by various carriers but it isn't possible to choose which carrier will deliver your order. You will be provided tracking number where that is made available by the carrier.
Customs and Taxes
The delivery costs do not include potential import/export taxes that need to be paid by the client. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from TheShop.mu, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We have no control over these charges and can not predict what they may be.
All payments for international deliveries should be made in advance, and can be processed via PayPal or Internet Banking Transfer (MCB). Our banking details an be found here.
Goods shipped outside of Mauritius are not returnable, nor may be refunded. We will however ensure on our side that the goods are in good state when handed over to the third party carrier.
